How Do You Know If Your Water Is Clean ?

This article discusses part of the topic of hydration and water discussed in our video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8kt5ukOLBw

Water purity is essential for maintaining good health, as water is a fundamental component of the human body and crucial for various bodily functions.

However, water can be contaminated by various pollutants, posing risks to human health. Some of the main contaminants found in water include:

1. pesticides

2.lead

3. arsenic

4. mercury

These can accumulate in the body over time and cause serious health issues such as neurological damage and organ failure. There are also endocrine disrupters that can be present in your water. A very common disrupter are the byproducts left from common hormonal birth control.

Additionally, microbial contaminants such as:

1. bacteria

2. viruses

3. parasites

Ensuring water purity involves regular testing and treatment processes to remove or reduce contaminants. The big question is how do you test and then treat your water? There are a lot of home testing kits available and below is a link to the EPA when to test along with some options.

When it comes to treating your water the best option available is reverse osmosis. A four stage system will be able to remove all of the contaminates mentioned above. There are two main options when it comes to Reverse Osmosis.

1. over the counter option

2. built in under the counter option that is built into your plumbing.

Both have pros and cons and depending on your situation and budget. For example as a single college student living in a dorm we would suggest an over the counter system with a smaller capacity to save space. You can usually find something like this such as the: Bluevua RO100ROPOT-LITE Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System. We are not affiliated with Bluevua in anyway, many DXD team members happen to use there products and have had great results.

Water purification needs to be taken seriously, we need clean water.

Bonus tip make sure you add back minerals as the Reverse Osmosis will not only pull the contaminates but also the good minerals from the water.

Stay driven stay disciplined!
